I live by the mantra “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, faithfully”. I have been serving the Insurance Industry for fourteen years; starting as Sales Representative and today I am the Sales Manager for Guyana and Trinidad Mutual Group of Insurance Companies. I have served on and off the executive of Life Underwriters Association, The Insurance Institute and The Insurance Association of SVG at various capacities. My desire is to see the Insurance Industry serve the nation’s people faithfully with the highest ethical and professional standard.

Hannah D. Laidlow, FCCA, CIA, is a Chartered Certified Accountant with a combined 13 years experience in the Auditing and Accounting field. She is currently the Financial Controller at St. Vincent Insurances Limited.

With 12 years’ experience, Rudisha still believes that there is something new to learn every day in the insurance industry. She is the Client Solutions Manager at Gallagher Insurance Broker (St. Vincent) with a degree BSc Business (Marketing) and HIA Designation. As the Social Officer for the executive, her aim is to bring the members of the association together through the planning of social activities for learning and bonding experiences.

Neka Anthony has been in the insurance industry for the past nine years and four months as a Sales Representative with Demerara Mutual Life. I had served on the interim executive of The Vincentian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (VINAIFA) as PRO for about 2 plus years. Collaborating with positive minds and getting things done I am up for the task. I believe we will carry the mantle of the Association in each and every company conquering hurdles and creating great success stories.
Joe Sheridan

Joe Sheridan’s insurance career spans over 60 years as a full-time insurance professional, including 38 years in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Prior to settling in SVG, he lived and worked in East and Central Africa as well as throughout the Eastern Caribbean.
He was awarded the prestigious title of Chartered Insurance Broker by the global Chartered Insurance Institute in 1994, just four years after pioneering The Insurance Brokers Ltd. in SVG in 1990.
In 1992, Joe played a leading role in revitalizing the Insurance Association of SVG, and in 1997, he became the Founding President of the Insurance Institute of SVG.
As Chairman of The Insurance Brokers Ltd., he remains committed to promoting Risk Management and Business Continuity, and he is frequently invited to speak on these topics.
Joe has been happily married to Dr. Miriam since 1990, the same year he became a Vincentian citizen and continues to serve the community through Rotary, the Catholic Church, and by sharing his musical talents.
