About Us
The Insurance Association of St. Vincent and The Grenadines was established in the 1970s under the name – St. Vincent Underwriters, Agents, and Brokers Association. In 1992 it was renamed The Insurance Association of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
This Association acts as the collective voice of the Insurance Sector, as it represents the industry on matters which foster its growth and development. The Association is managed by an Executive Board comprised of managers and representatives of various Insurance Companies.

Membership
Who should join
Membership shall be open to any insurance company and/or association of Underwriters and/or their Agents and/or Insurance Brokers registered by the’ Government of St. Vincent to transact Insurance business in the State and who are actually transacting such business.
Application for membership providing such particulars as may be required shall be submitted to the Executive’ Committee and shall only be accepted if approved by a majority of the members of the Association.
Benefits of membership
Representation of those transacting insurance business in Saint St. Vincent and the Grenadines in order to afford opportunities for consultation and co-operation in all matters affecting their common interest and to function as a medium of consultation with Government and other similar associations thereby gaining strength in numbers.
Advancement of the business of insurance on the island on a sound and cohesive basis.
